Chris’s career highlights include working as the visual effects director of photography for films such as Moonrise Kingdom, Hellboy, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He has also played crucial roles in creating stunning visual effects for movies like The Abyss, True Lies, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. His work extends beyond feature films to include notable contributions to television specials like Titanic: 25 Years Later with James Cameron.

With a strong background in miniature photography, Chris’s talents have been sought after by top effects companies including Fantasy II Film Effects and Thingery Inc. His dedication to his craft is evident in his work on iconic films such as Underworld, The Punisher, Constantine, and Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Jon Warren, a third-generation film industry veteran, comes from a family with a rich heritage of filmmakers and visual effects artists.

Jon Warren, a third-generation film industry veteran, comes from a family with a rich heritage of filmmakers and visual effects artists. Starting from the ground up in visual effects, he honed his craft while ascending through renowned companies such as Fantasy II, Digital Domain, and New Deal Studios. In 1994, he co-founded Vision Crew Unlimited, leaving an indelible mark until 2002.

Always at the forefront of technology while mastering traditional techniques, Jon continually evolves his skills in design, fabrication, and project management. His diverse credits span from monumental action sequences in The Dark Knight and Inception to the delicate artistry of stop-motion films like ParaNorman, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio.
Jon’s passion lies in translating imaginative concepts into stunning visual realities on screen, consistently delivering awe-inspiring results.

Growing up immersed in Hollywood, he began his journey at his grandfather’s company, Excelsior, securing his first film industry job at the age of eight. Gene Jr., renowned for groundbreaking films like The Time Machine, instilled in him a passion for cinematic magic.

After years under his father's mentorship, Gene III co-founded Fantasy II Film Effects, contributing to iconic movies such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, earning his own Visual Effects Academy Award. Continuing the family tradition, he and his brother Chris became distinguished educators at USC, shaping future VFX talents.

Gene III's career spans pivotal roles in films like Scream 3, Underworld, and Moonrise Kingdom, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with digital innovation. Currently, he applies his expertise to Alex Prager’s Dreamquil, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in the digital era.

With four children and a steadfast commitment to excellence, Gene F. Warren III is not just preserving but advancing the family's cinematic legacy into the 21st century.

Brandon Knight-Warren is a creative and solution-driven professional with a robust background in media and entertainment, specializing in production.

Brandon Lee Knight-Warren grew up on the family sets, watching movies come to life behind scenes. As a fourth generation film maker, he intends to leave his own mark in the world of entertainment. Producing his own shorts and sketches through high school and college, he went right to work with the family on commercials and television. At Blind Beagle, he continues to hone his skills and propel the family forward into a bright and exciting future in the business.

Matt Haslam is a seasoned visual effects artist with a career spanning over 27 years, specializing in miniature design and construction, prop creation, and pyro effects.

Matt Haslam is a seasoned visual effects artist with a career spanning over 27 years, specializing in miniature design and construction, prop creation, and pyro effects. His journey began with early work on two episodes of Reading Rainbow with Levar Burton, and since then, his movie credits have included iconic films such as Matrix: Reloaded, Spider-Man, The Crow: City of Angels, Blade II, Virus, Atomic Train, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, and Godzilla.

Throughout his career, Matt has worked with several notable effects companies, including Fantasy II Film Effects and 4-Ward Productions, contributing to films produced by major studios. Recently, he has also been producing work through an association with Far Away Creations alongside Cal Pierce.

Matt's career has been marked by significant mentorship under the late Gene Warren Jr., a dear friend and mentor who passed in 2019. Following the closure of Fantasy II, Matt is now involved in resurrecting the company under a new name, Blind Beagle VFX, alongside Gene's sons, Chris and Gene III. At Blind Beagle VFX, Matt will be helping to run the model and prop shop, continuing his legacy of excellence in visual effects.
