Christopher Lee Warren, the founder and owner of Blind Beagle VFX, is a highly accomplished visual effects artist, supervisor, and cinematographer across film, TV, commercial, and tangible installation VFX. Bringing in the right crew and having such a storied career, Chris completely understands the need for each project to blend seamlessly into its environment down to the finest detail. As a versatile artist, Chris also brings his skills as an underwater DP to the table, further broadening the knowledge and scope of services offered by Blind Beagle VFX. The Warren family remains at the forefront of the company, with his brother Gene Warren III serving as master model maker, alongside his son Brandon and cousin Jon Warren, each bringing individual expertise to the firm.

Chris continues to educate, inspire, and captivate audiences and young artists worldwide through his contributions to education and mentorship. These include over six years as an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, serving as a selected mentor at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, and actively participating in the International Prospela Film Mentorship program.

Always at the forefront of technology while mastering traditional techniques, Jon continually evolves his skills in design, fabrication, and project management. His diverse credits span from monumental action sequences in The Dark Knight and Inception to the delicate artistry of stop-motion films like ParaNorman, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio.

After years under his father's mentorship, Gene III co-founded Fantasy II Film Effects, contributing to iconic movies such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, earning his own Visual Effects Academy Award. Continuing the family tradition, he and his brother Chris became distinguished educators at USC, shaping future VFX talents.
Gene III's career spans pivotal roles in films like Scream 3, Underworld, and Moonrise Kingdom, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with digital innovation. Currently, he applies his expertise to Alex Prager’s Dreamquil, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in the digital era.

Throughout his career, Matt has worked with several notable effects companies, including Fantasy II Film Effects and 4-Ward Productions, contributing to films produced by major studios. Recently, he has also been producing work through an association with Far Away Creations alongside Cal Pierce.
Matt's career has been marked by significant mentorship under the late Gene Warren Jr., a dear friend and mentor who passed in 2019. Following the closure of Fantasy II, Matt is now involved in resurrecting the company under a new name, Blind Beagle VFX, alongside Gene's sons, Chris and Gene III. At Blind Beagle VFX, Matt will be helping to run the model and prop shop, continuing his legacy of excellence in visual effects.
